We built the app we wanted on our own campus.
A group of us walked into SpartaHack X with one idea: connect people going through the same thing. That idea is now Twine Campus, and it runs two products: Twine, the free campus app, and Remi, the tutor that studies your actual coursework.
- What we kept running into
- You sit in the same classes every week and never learn anyone’s name. You hear about events after they happen. And when one class starts slipping, there is nobody at 1am to explain it.
- What we built
- Twine is where you find out what is on and who is in your classes. Remi is the study partner that knows your courses, down to the syllabus.
- Who builds it
- Students at Central Michigan. We sit in the same lectures, eat in the same dining halls and pull the same all nighters as the people using the apps.

- February 2024
- Competed at SpartaHack X.
- April 2024
- Won the Audience Choice Award at the New Venture Challenge.
- May 2024
- Founded Twine Campus.
- Fall 2024
- Twine went live on iPhone at Central Michigan, then Mid Michigan College and Florida State.
- March 2026
- Remi went live on Mac, Windows and Linux.
- 2026
- Won the Audience Choice Award at the New Venture Challenge again, and Venture Gallery Runner Up.
- Now
- Building Remi for iPhone and Android.

To whoever is reading this,
Thank you.
We’re students too. We sit in the same lectures, cram for the same exams, and a lot of us showed up on campus not knowing anyone.
Twine and Remi came out of that. Twine is for the people you meet. Remi is for the classes you take. We built them because we needed them ourselves, and we still use them for our own semesters.
So we build for what we know. When something works for you, there’s a good chance it worked for us first. When it doesn’t, tell us. We’ve probably hit the same wall.
We hope we get to be part of your time in college, and part of how you become the student you want to be.
